WOW Foundation in association with the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana, conceptualized India’s first Inclusion Film Festival to be screened at Paidi Jayaraj Preview Theatre, Ravindra Bharathi. We believe that a short film is the most powerful media of communication and the means for spreading awareness.
“Indian Inclusion Short Film Festival (IISFF)”, the first-of-its-kind Short Film Festival is aimed to encourage filmmakers to create short movies in the spheres of disability welfare, inclusion, and accessibility.
The Indian Inclusion Short Film Festival (IISFF) has been launched on Tuesday, 12th March 2019 at Mini Hall, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad in the presence of Sri. Mamidi Harikrishna, Director – Department of Language & Culture, Government of Telangana, Sri. Narsing Rao Bongurala, Founder – WOW Foundation, Sri. Praveen Kumar Machavaram, Curator – IISFF, Sri. Rajashekar Reddy Allipuram, Patron – WOW Foundation, jury members, associates, partners, and so on.
The Indian Inclusion Short Film Festival (IISFF) is calling for short film entries across India. The entries will be scrutinized by specially constituted Jury during March – May 2019. The entries will be judged on various parameters and final probable list of short films will be selected. All the short films shortlisted will be screened during the Film Festival for enthusiastic audience in the presence of invitees, guests, partners, supporters, volunteers, and media representatives.
All the shortlisted Short Films are presented during the Film Festival from 20th to 24th May 2019 at Paidi Jayaraj Preview Theatre, Ravindra Bharathi to the audience. At the end of the Short Film Festival, we would present Awards, Prizes, Certificates, felicitation to technicians, producers, and actors of the short films. Many celebrities, corporate organizations, media channels, online promotional agencies, social activists and social organizations have pledged their support for this Short Film Festival.
